This Position reports to:

Production Engineering Manager:

Key responsibilities

You are responsible for the development and optimization of specialized manufacturing processes, with a focus on welding technology and printing methods. You work closely with interdisciplinary teams to develop innovative solutions for our production requirements.

Your main tasks include:

• Responsibility for and further development of specialized manufacturing processes at the site, with a focus on welding technology and printing methods

• Specification of manufacturing processes, associated parameter management, equipment, and tools in collaboration with internal and external partners

• Execution and evaluation of manufacturing trials in cooperation with industry partners or within the in-house production environment

• Selection of processes and parameterization for the production of new products, considering both technical and economic aspects

• Structured and solution-oriented approach to the development and implementation of new manufacturing technologies

• Close collaboration with the departments of Production, Quality, Product Development, and IT

• Technical supervision of in-house automated production systems to ensure production targets

Qualifications for the role

• Completed technical degree (e.g. Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering) or a comparable qualification

• Several years of professional experience in the industrial application of welding and printing technologies

• In-depth understanding of technical processes and material properties

• High level of personal responsibility, independence, and goal orientation

• Strong communication skills and enthusiasm for interdisciplinary collaboration

• You are at ease communicating in German. Communication skills in English is a plus
