Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to manage a team of Buyers for the execution of operational purchasing activities. Each day, you will develop and lead improvement and standardization of transactional purchasing processes. You will also showcase your expertise by executing the implementation, operation, maintenance, and performance of supply chain systems and data analytics tools.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Ensuring operational Buyers minimize risk regarding quality and financial exposure by buying in accordance with quality and commercial procedures and group/business guidelines.

• Securing effective execution of sourcing strategies in line with procurement strategy and category organization strategy through tactical/operational processes.

• Making sure all operational Buyers understand strategies and execute processes accordingly.

• Executing programs to drive improvement in cost, quality, delivery, and working capital (payment terms, lead times, order quantities and purchased material inventory), in accordance with group/business procurement guidelines and manufacturing unit objectives.

Qualifications for the role

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related experience.

• 8 years of materials, planning, purchasing, inventory management and leadership experience.

• Possess an enhanced knowledge of advanced Excel, Outlook, SAP and purchasing software.

• Strong planning and organizational skills, analytical with a methodical approach to problem solving.

• Ability to work under pressure and excellent communication skills, written and verbal.

• Candidate must have work authorization to work in the U.S.
