Your Role and Responsibilities
You will be working as a Senior Field Service Engineer, you will have the opportunity to execute service work with low to medium complexity as per work instructions and in accordance with ABB standard processes, quality standards, and safety guidelines. Each day, you will plan and execute work on a first-time right approach with customers. You will also showcase your expertise by displaying a clear understanding of sense of urgency and care in your own area of responsibility
The work model for the role is: Hybrid
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Performing field service tasks, identifies technical issues, and performs analysis through remote or on-site activity in service categories and products for which they are certified to perform.
- Preparing material lists needed for service activity and ensure that all materials, parts, and equipment are available and of appropriate quality for service activities.
- Planning and execute work on a first-time right approach with customers, and ensure the job is done on time and as per quality standards.
- Troubleshooting equipment/process failures, request proactive corrective actions, and makes recommendations to avoid such issues in the future.

Qualifications for the Role
- B-Tech Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering
- 5 - 6 Years experience in field service work.
- Collaborative and good communication skills.
- Occupational Health and Safety (OHS)
- Regulation and legal compliance
- Technical support and services experience
- Quality Management skills
- ABB 800xA, P13, P14 and Melody experience
