This Position reports to:
Continuous Improvement Manager:
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the deployment of the continuous improvement strategy for a local organizational unit, including promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Each day, you will mentor and coach teams to achieve operational excellence and drive improved results. You will also showcase your expertise by deploying and leading projects to improve and sustain local business performance.

This role is contributing to the Electrification Distribution Solutions division in San Luis Potosi.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Escalating to relevant stakeholders, as necessary, to remove roadblocks that prevent the successful implementation and adoption of continuous improvement initiatives at local level and helping facilitate cases of conflicting priorities in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Ensuring the continuous improvement approach and strategy deployed at local ABB unit level is aligned with the global strategy.
- Facilitating significant improvements with respect to safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and/or cost targets, meeting customer and stakeholder commitments in collaboration with local leadership.
- Providing training support by developing and maintaining training modules and toolkits aligned with business needs in collaboration with management at local level.
- Promoting and implementing improvement programs and projects within their own area of responsibility
- Tracking programs, initiatives, projects, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to demonstrate progress and value, enabling decision-makers to allocate resources and recognize success.
Qualifications for the role - 5+ years of Continuous Improvement leader or similar position.
- Bachelors degree in Engineering
- Expertise on detecting, developing and reporting 30+ L6S Improvement Projects per year in a manufacturing and/or transactional environment, with relevant bottom-line savings.
- 6S Green Belt Certification is a must (6S Black Belt preferred)
- Advanced English is a must (American Visa desirable).
- Expertise on providing training & coaching to hourly and salary staff.
- Results oriented and work towards objectives, High sense of urgency and Collaborative and Teamwork booster
