Your role and responsibilities

You will be working in the finance team in the Business Services (BS) organization, in the largest center located in Krakow, helping to prepare accounting studies and financial reports by completing accounting activities recording financial transactions. Reporting to Tax Team Leader you will provide key support to the business, applying relevant accounting techniques and standards to identify and resolve issues.

The work model for the role is: hybrid #Li-hybrid

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Performing transactional tax (indirect tax and/or direct tax) activities, completing specific tax related tasks, executing tax analyses and reports as assigned
• Ensuring the production of reports (e.g. VAT registers, SAF-T, Intrastat reports, CIT reports, WHT information, etc.)
• Clearing errors, applying tax and accounting techniques and standard practices to the classification and recording of financial transactions to solve unusual issues
• Participating in internal control testing and preparing relevant documentation
• Participating in global projects where process improvement will be an asset

Qualifications for the role

• Ability to demonstrate 2 years of experience in Tax area
• You have practical knowledge of ERP system (SAP, Oracle)
• Good user knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel skills (functions, pivot table)
• Possess an enhanced knowledge of basic knowledge of European tax law (direct and/or indirect tax) (it is an advantage)
• You are passionate about customer service and present analytical skills
• Ability to gain knowledge and process orientation quickly and to work in a team
• Degree in Finance or equivalent areas
• You are at ease communicating in English (advanced knowledge of another European language is as an asset)
