In this role, you will have the opportunity to act as a design authority within your engineering discipline and lead a team of engineers in delivering high-quality solutions. Each day, you will manage and execute assignments across multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery and achievement of defined KPIs in a cost-effective manner.

You will also drive continuous improvement by addressing and enhancing quality-related issues, taking ownership of development projects and related strategies. In addition, you will coordinate closely with production teams to facilitate effective knowledge transfer and ensure smooth operational execution.

You will showcase your expertise by ensuring that all assignments are completed in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, cybersecurity policies, and operational excellence principles.

This role is contributing to the MNS Electrical Design Office in Smart Power SPLVS – Low Voltage Systems Egypt. Main stakeholders are internal engineering teams, production and supply chain functions, sales and project management teams, as well as local and global product management and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborating with customers to define and deliver technical solutions and drive continuous improvement

• Preparing work plans and cost estimates, ensuring execution in line with agreed timelines, budget, and KPIs

• Leading a team of engineers and ensuring effective operational execution of assigned projects

• Taking ownership of development initiatives and contributing to the implementation of related strategies

• Coordinating with production and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth manufacturing, testing, and commissioning

• Ensuring effective knowledge transfer between engineering and production functions

• Driving resolution of quality issues and implementing corrective and preventive actions

• Coaching engineers in the preparation of engineering documentation and promoting best practices and lessons learned

Qualifications:

• You are engaged in working with the latest design and configuration software and tools in the field of switchgear engineering

• You have at least 7 years of experience in the design of low voltage switchgear, including related activities such as testing, production support, and material planning

• You possess strong knowledge of Low Voltage Systems, IEC standards, EPLAN, short-circuit and selectivity studies, automation, PLC programming, and switchgear configurators

• You are passionate about solving technical challenges in the field of low voltage switchgear and committed to continuous learning and self-development

• You stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in low voltage systems and IEC standards

• Experience in leading or coordinating engineering teams is nice to have

• Degree in Engineering (Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical)

• You are at ease communicating in English
