About the Role
We are seeking a senior Global Product & Technology Manager to manage the end-to-end ownership of our Power Reliability portfolio. This role combines strategic product leadership with practical execution skills, ensuring delivery of current roadmaps while shaping innovation, integration, and future growth across a global footprint.
The position spans Product Management and Technology/R&D, with accountability for quality, lifecycle performance, and cross-functional alignment across regions and functions.
The location is Global:feel free to apply world-wide, the selected candidate would be hosted at the nearest suitable ABB location
Main Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end responsibility for the Power Reliability portfolio, including strategy, execution, quality, and lifecycle management
- Manage delivery of the existing product roadmap, ensuring milestone control, resource discipline, and time-to-market
- Analyze global market, customer, and competitor trends to define value propositions and portfolio priorities
- Manage innovation initiatives across products, systems, services, excitation, automation, synchronization, rectifiers and digital integration
- Optimize global footprint and resource allocation across internal teams and external partners
- Improve system-level integration and collaboration across business lines and functions
- Contribute to make-vs-buy decisions, partnerships, and potential M&A activities
- Ensure long-term product support, localization, and profitability across the full lifecycle
Qualifications & Experience
- Senior experience in Product Management and Technology leadership within power generation transmission, distribution and complex industrial environments
- Demonstrated ability to execute large-scale global product roadmaps while advancing strategic evolution
- Extensive background in portfolio management, product quality, and lifecycle governance
- Experience leading distributed, multicultural teams and persuading stakeholders without direct authority
- Demonstrated capability in innovation, integration, or business model development
- Exposure to partnerships, ecosystem collaboration, or M&A is considered as advantage
- Effective stakeholder management, communication, and decision-making skills
- Degree in Engineering, Technology, or a related field
Location
- Preferred proximity to major development hubs such as Switzerland, India, and Poland, with flexibility. The role requires regular international collaboration and travel, particularly across key development and operational teams.
