This role sits within ABB's Robotics business, a leading global robotics company. We're entering an exciting new chapter as we’ve announced the plan for Soft Bank Group to acquire ABB Robotics. Role Mission:

Are you passionate about controlling and financial management and eager to join a global company that is transforming the industry with cutting-edge technology? ABB is looking for a Functional Cost Finance Manager to join our Robotics team in Brazil. If you have experience in accounting, financial analysis, and compliance, and are ready to take on strategic and operational challenges, this opportunity is for you!

Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute accounting and reporting activities, including month-end close, financial statement preparation, and consolidation.

  • Ensure compliance with ABB standards, local GAAP, and US GAAP.

  • Coordinate external audits and ensure adherence to internal controls.

  • Implement accounting policies aligned with ABB Robotics standards and local regulations.

  • Perform critical analysis of financial data, investigate discrepancies, and propose solutions.

  • Lead Internal Control over Financial Reporting (ICoFR) compliance, including testing and documentation.

  • Prepare local GAAP adjustments and reconcile US GAAP vs local GAAP.

  • Coordinate tax processes with outsourced providers and ensure deadlines are met.

  • Support harmonization, standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.

  • Active CRC (Regional Accounting Council) registration (mandatory).

  • Solid experience in accounting, financial analysis, and performance management.

  • Strong knowledge of SAP / SAP S/4HANA environments.

  • Advanced English (mandatory) to interact with regional and global stakeholders.

  • Intermediate Spanish (preferred).

  • Expertise in internal controls, regulatory compliance, risk management, and treasury.

Nice to Have

  • Additional certifications in controlling or auditing.

  • Experience in multinational environments.

  • Skills in integration projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
