This Position reports to:

Planning & Fulfillment Manager:

Your role and responsibilities

This is a newly created position within our Smart Buildings business, supporting the factory and supply operations in Ede and Evergem. Our Smart Buildings portfolio includes in-wall power outlets and meter cabinets, supplied to wholesalers and contractors across the Benelux.

As a Planning & Fulfillment Specialist, you play a key role in ensuring the continuity of production by managing and optimizing the supply planning process for the factory. Your daily focus is on anticipating demand, preventing supply shortages and maintaining close alignment with internal and external stakeholders.

You will operate at the heart of the business, balancing planning, forecasting, execution and collaboration to safeguard on-time delivery and operational excellence.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Planning and coordinating the supply process to support uninterrupted factory production.

  • Proactively preventing supply shortages through forward planning and analysis.

  • Monitoring supply performance and inventory levels against agreed KPIs.

  • Maintaining close contact with key stakeholders, including production, sales, supply units and the business office.

  • Supporting short-term planning and execution to ensure customer and production commitments are met.

  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within planning and fulfillment.

This role reports directly to the Local Planning & Fulfillment Manager and has no direct reports.

Qualifications for the role

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree (HBO) in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration or Economics.

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience.

  • Strong analytical skills and a structured way of working.

  • Hands-on mentality and proactive mindset.

  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude.

  • Fluent in Dutch and English.

  • Willingness to travel within the Benelux (approximately once every two weeks to Evergem, Belgium).

Nice to have:

  • Affinity with technical products and manufacturing environments.
