Your role and responsibilities

You will have a key role in growing our service business. Every day, you’ll work on identifying new opportunities, managing sales activities, and offering practical solutions that directly benefit our customers. You’ll focus on our Installed Base (IB) and promote the full range of ABB Service products. If you enjoy building effective relationships and solving customer needs quickly, this role is for you.

In this role, you’ll help run what runs the world by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact, as you will be accountable for:

  • Exploring existing customer setups and offering upgrades, retrofits, and added-value solutions that improve performance and bring benefits to both the customer and ABB.

  • Understanding how we sell through different channels, helping define pricing, building sales plans, and adjusting them when needed.

  • Finding new leads and spotting market trends to grow our service business and introduce new offerings.

  • Representing ABB and our service solutions at events like trade shows, exhibitions, conferences, and customer meetings—showing the value we bring in a clear and engaging way.

Qualifications for the role

  • You have substantial experience in service sales and are highly skilled at excelling in the role.

  • Demonstrates effective commercial skills and promotional capabilities, with a focus on identifying business opportunities, engaging clients, and expanding market reach.

  • You have advanced skills in low/medium voltage systems with a motivated, customer-oriented approach.

  • Degree in electrical engineering (or related technical field).

  • You are at ease communicating in Italian and English, and you are available to travel across the country to support business and technical activities on-site.
