Head of Global Cloud Solutions:

The Project Manager in the Cloud & Hosting organization is responsible for end‑to‑end delivery of cloud, hosting, and infrastructure projects that enable business transformation, operational stability, and service modernization. The role ensures projects are delivered on time, within scope, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, while maintaining strong collaboration with technical teams, business stakeholders, and leadership.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Manage the planning, execution, and delivery of Cloud & Hosting projects including cloud migrations, infrastructure modernization, platform upgrades, service improvements, and operational initiatives.
• Define and maintain project scope, timelines, milestones, risks, budget, and resource plans.
• Collaborate closely with Cloud, Hosting, Observability, Security, and Operations teams to ensure cross-functional alignment and timely delivery.
• Use established ABB IS methodologies, governance frameworks, and standards to ensure predictable project outcomes.
• Drive project intake, feasibility analysis, and estimation for new initiatives.
• Ensure effective vendor coordination and oversight where projects involve third‑party partners.
• Facilitate project ceremonies including status reviews, risk workshops, sprint planning (for Agile deliveries), and steering committee meetings.
• Maintain comprehensive and transparent reporting for stakeholders and leadership, covering project status, risks, budget burn, dependencies, and decisions needed.
• Ensure smooth transition to operations by coordinating with Cloud & Hosting service owners, service management, and support teams

Qualifications for the role

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent.
• 5–8+ years of experience delivering IT projects, with at least 3 years in cloud, hosting, infrastructure, or platform delivery.
• Demonstrated experience managing medium to large-scale technical projects in global or matrixed organizations.
• Experience collaborating with cloud teams (Azure/AWS/GCP), infrastructure, network, security, and operations
