Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the deployment of the quality strategy for a local organizational unit, including quality culture, systems, tools, and competent teams with the aim to achieve and exceed customer expectations, while ensuring sustainable operations. You will also showcase your expertise by collaborating with local functions that impact the quality results to reach the targets for the organizational unit and aim for world-class performance.
The work model for the role is: #Li_Onsite
This role is contributing to the Motion business for Traction division based in Vadodara, India
You will be mainly accountable for:

Develop, implement, audit and update quality standards and quality control systems.

Investigate production and product issues and consider corrective measures to make improvements. Compliance with quality specifications by the inspection and testing of materials, equipment, processes and products at different stages

Collaborate with suppliers, managers and other personnel to meet organizational quality standards

Coordinate with the organization's internal teams to improve product quality and meet customer requirements

Work in coordination with external technicians and quality assurance auditors

Qualifications for the role - 5 to 8 years of experience in Quality Assurance, motor background (preferred).

Full time engineering in Mechanical or Electrical.

Ensures integrity and compliance with ABB values and ethics in all activities.

Knowledge of ISO- 9001 and IRIS TS 22163 certification.

Manages relationships with stakeholders in their own area of responsibility and ensures alignment.
