This Position reports to:

Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to oversee the operational aspects of local units, encompassing the full scope of Operations, including project management and control, project engineering, manufacturing, production engineering, maintenance, procurement, quality, continuous improvement, logistics, and planning and fulfillment, or a part of that. Each day, you will be responsible for developing business action plans for the units, aligned with business area/division/product group strategy and targets. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring strict adherence within the Operations with respect to policies and required health, safety, and integrity standards.

This role is contributing to the Automation Process Industries in Merida, Yucatan.
You will be mainly accountable for:

Responsible for developing business action plans for the unit, aligned with business division strategy and targets.

Monitors plan implementation and tracks any deviations for corrective action.

Prepares annual budget, oversees progress, and determines measures to address cost-related issues as necessary, to manage operations within the allocated budget and resources.

Develops programs, projects, goals, and metrics to lead the organization to the highest level of operational performance while optimizing working capital throughout Operations.

Ensures that the organization takes into account an overall value chain perspective to meet customer expectations as per agreed quality, service levels, and lead time.

Ensures a thorough understanding and fosters a culture of continuous improvement behaviors, methodology, and processes within the organization.

Assesses risks and safety hazards and implements plans to ensure people and equipment safety.

Provides support to Sales staff to improve their understanding of customer requirements, enabling them to identify potential constraints and proposes solutions from an operational point of view.

Manage Engineering Team for Local Projects as well as International assignments.
Qualifications for the role
-
At least 10+ years of professional experience in a similar role
-
Bachelor's degree in Engineering. Master's degree as a plus.

Project Management experience as a must, coordinating multidisciplinary teams
-
People management as a must
-
Strong knowledge and experience within Pulp & Paper, Cement, Mining and Hoisting industries.
-
Financial experience in controlling expenses
-
Project and field engineers management
-
Strong assessment and coordination skills with inter levels company stakeholders
-
Project Management Certification and PM tools management as a desirable
-
Advanced English communications skills
