This Position reports to:
Production Supervisor
Paint Room Operator:
Your Responsibilities:
-
Operate manual or semi-automatic painting application including grit blasting machines
-
Dilute paint as required
-
Inspect each piece for cosmetic flaws
-
Fill in production logs and reports.
-
Manual material handling
-
Meet established standard quality and productivity expectations
-
Follow job Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions (WIs) and 5S procedures.
-
Maintain accurate quality and production records
-
Embrace teamwork
-
Proper use of PPE including safety glasses, hearing protection, steel toed boots, and others as applicable
-
All other duties, as assigned
Your Background:
-
High School diploma or equivalent
-
Prior manufacturing experience preferred
-
Ability to lift up to 40lbs
-
Ability to perform repetitive operations and pull/push functions
-
Ability to stand for 8 hours daily
-
Comfortable bending, twisting, reaching
-
Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
-
Basic proficiency in computer systems and applications.
-
While hourly pay rate is determined by things such as the successful applicant’s qualifications and experience, this position is expected to pay at $19.75 including $1.50 shift differential. 3rd shift hours are 11:30 PM – 8:00 AM Sunday
