This Position reports to:

Local Division Manager:

Your Role: Own the Challenge
In this role, you will have the opportunity to drive service sales activities, generate new business opportunities, and secure profitable growth within the assigned territory. Every day, you will focus on Installed Base (IB) penetration and on promoting the full Service product portfolio. You will also leverage your expertise to build strong, long-term customer relationships while ensuring timely responses to customers’ needs and challenges.

The work model for the role is: Hybrid

This role is contributing to the Motion Service Division in Mexico.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive Installed Base (IB) penetration by promoting upgrades, retrofits, and value‑added solutions that benefit both customers and ABB.
  • Understand the channel strategy, support pricing alignment, prepare sales plans, review performance, and propose recovery plans when required.
  • Generate service sales leads and develop new market opportunities by analyzing market trends and identifying potential additions to the service portfolio.
  • Act as a marketer and salesperson of ABB’s service products and solutions during marketing activities (campaigns, trade fairs, exhibitions, conferences, customer visits)

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in Sales (including sales and marketing planning).
  • Knowledge of drives and electric motors.
  • Familiarity with industries such as metals, pulp & paper, cement, water, energy, and oil & gas.
  • Advanced English.
  • Experience with sales tools (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Experience as a service engineer or in service solutions is desirable.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Mechanical Engineering.
