This Position reports to:

Group Manager O&G, CH&R

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to be a design authority for an engineering discipline. Each day, you will complete assignments on multiple projects of moderate size or portions of major projects in a cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring assignments are completed in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and cybersecurity policies and standards.

The work model for the role is: hybrid

This role is contributing to the Process Automation Energy Industries in Qatar & Middle East region.

You will be mainly accountable for:

٠ Working with the customer to shape and deliver solutions while seeking customer feedback to drive and deliver improvements.

٠ Creating work plans and cost estimates for the portfolio of projects and ensuring quality, timely implementation within the targeted cost.

٠ Coordinating with relevant functions to ensure the designs are appropriately manufactured / staged, tested, installed, and commissioned.

٠ Coaching engineering colleagues on the translation of conceptual designs to engineering documentation, best practices, and lessons learned from past projects.

Qualifications for the role:

٠ You are skilled in ABB 800xA and/or S+ with Harmony / Infi90, PMS & IEC 61850, AC800M HI and/or Advant systems in the Energy Industries sector markets

٠ You have more than six years of experience in Process Automation with ABB Products mentioned above

٠ Possess the enhanced knowledge in most of the specified systems / platforms

٠ You are passionate about building strong collaboration and cooperate tightly with targeted destinations and sectors

٠ Degree in Electrical or Automation Engineering

٠ You are at ease communicating in English
