This Position reports to:

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the development of the planning and fulfillment-related processes, skills, and tools. Each day, you will support performance improvement, including customer on-time delivery and lead time. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring adherence to inventory targets and supply plan optimization.

This role is contributing to the Motion business based at Bangalore, India:

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Maintaining the right inventory levels, optimizing them according to the company’s targets while ensuring high customer service level.
• Performing standard and detailed analyses of planning and fulfillment metrics, including Days Inventory on Hand (DIH), on-time delivery, lead time, forecast accuracy, and resource utilization.
• Identifying key root causes for non-performance and drives improvement initiatives across business.
• Runs a short-term planning process or Sales & Operation Execution (S&OE) process, ensuring seamless alignment between planning and execution.
• Coordinates an appropriate response to unplanned events.
• Leads/contributes to cross-functional initiatives for optimizing customer on-time delivery, lead time, inventory, resource utilization, and forecast accuracy.
• Provides visibility of supply capacity and local supply objectives into the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process.
• Segments and optimizes the portfolio of materials through ABC/XYZ analysis , product lifecycle management and Defines inventory policies based on the specified segmentation.
• Calculates and maintains the inventory parameters, including safety stock, reorder point, lot size, lead time, and replenishment strategies, in the planning systems and the ERPs.
• Drives materials resource planning exception messages on a daily basis and Coordinates material planning with call-offs to ensure that purchase requisitions are converted into purchase orders in collaboration with buyers

Qualifications for the role

• Full time B.Tech EE and E&C
• Knowledge on ERP MM / PP Module in SAP.
• Knowledge of Material management planning tools.
• Owning the site supply planning process.
• Providing visibility of supply capacity and local supply objectives into the Sales and Operations Planning process.
• Running a short-term/Long term planning process or Sales & Operation Execution process, ensuring seamless alignment between planning and execution.
• Supporting the profitable execution of customer orders, in coordination with business functions and Supply chain and feeder factories.
• Collaborates with other units in the end-to-end supply chain.
