Your role and responsibilities:

In this role, you will have the opportunity to implement global processes, best practices, and solutions for the designated lead business across the Inquiry to Order (ITO) process to meet and exceed external and internal customers’ expectations. Each day, you will be accountable for end of line metrics. You will also showcase your expertise by focusing on achieving assigned targets by overseeing progress and defining improvement actions as needed.

Candidates for this position may work remotely from within the US (#) with a preference for folks located in either North Carolina or Florida in order to best collaborate with team.

This role is contributing to the Low Voltage Switchgear product lines within our Electrification Distribution Solutions team.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Developing optimization plans to increase operational excellence and external/internal customer satisfaction across the ITO processes.

• Focusing on increasing sales forecasting accuracy, timely delivered and complete quotes, percentage of clean orders, Net Promoter Score, salesforce data quality Key Performance Indicators, and minimizing the number of manual sales order changes.

• Supporting in leads, contacts, accounts and opportunities management, accounts segmentation, accounts planning, forecasting, and overall data quality reported in commercial tools.

• Leading a team of experts who work on customers’ and Sales Engineers’ input, generating products/systems configurations, managing market special price agreements, and preparing direct and indirect quotations.

Our team dynamics:
You will join a dynamic and multicultural team, where you will be able to thrive. The position will manage around 10 folks across the United States and Mexico.

Qualifications for the role:

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or equivalent is required. Masters Degree is preferred.

• You are immersed in and highly skilled with working within a Proposals Organization supporting a Global Market.

• 10+ years of experience in Proposals, Quotations, or related.

• Direct Industry or similar industry experience is strongly preferred. Prior experience in Low Voltage equipment or Switchgears is highly sought after for this role.

• Change Management Skills

• Bi-lingual in English and Spanish is nice to have in order to best relate to the global team reporting to the position.

• Candidates must already be authorized to work in the US for ABB.

While base salary is determined by things such as the successful applicant’s qualifications and experience, this position is expected to pay between $119,000 and $190,400 annually and is eligible for a short-term incentive plan/annual bonus.
