This Position reports to:

Production Manager

Your Role and Responsibilities:

You will support production lines by driving continuous improvement, process stabilization, and waste elimination, acting as a facilitator between Production and support functions (Quality, Industrialization, Maintenance, HSE, IT/MES).

In this role, you’ll help run what runs the world by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact, as you will be accountable for:

• Operational Production Support

• Supporting production continuity by troubleshooting issues, coordinating with key functions, and contributing to daily line meetings.

• Lean Manufacturing & Continuous Improvement

• Driving Lean initiatives through 5S implementation, Kaizen coordination, and Gemba-based process observation.

• Industrialization and Process Changes- Supporting industrialization activities including new product phase‑ins, equipment start‑ups, layout changes, and process optimization.

• Digitalization and Systems

• Enhancing digital systems by improving data collection processes, contributing to MES logic updates, and analyzing data for operational decisions.

• Projects and Training

• Contributing to cross‑functional projects, delivering training, and promoting Lean culture across production teams.

Qualifications for the Role:

• Master’s degree in Mechanical, Management, Automation, or Biomedical Engineering

• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles (5S, Kaizen, standard work, waste reduction/MUDA)

• Strong process analysis and structured problem-solving skills (e.g. 5 Whys, Ishikawa). Yellow Belt certification preferred

• Up to 2 years of experience in a similar environment (lean production, manufacturing, industrial engineering) is a plus

• Advanced knowledge of the Office package; Power BI is preferred

• Demonstrating strong shop floor orientation, effective communication, and the ability to collaborate with production teams and cross‑functional stakeholders

• You are at ease communicating in Italian and English, both written and spoken
