Your role and responsibilities:

In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to ABB’s success with technology, software, product, and system development. Each day, you will identify and implement innovative solutions to relevant problems. You will also showcase your expertise by providing ideas and by being able to work both independently and as a part of a Research & Development (R&D) team.

This role is contributing to the Motion Business Drive Products Division in Bangalore, India
You will be mainly accountable for:

• Identifying testing needs, executing test and driving the implementation of product and system test automation

• Participating in framing test strategy, selecting right tools, frameworks and executing automation of product testing in line with standard practices

• Being responsible for the test infrastructure, including virtual and physical test environment Searching for opportunities to improve test quality by identifying improvements and sharing of best practices

• Ability to write strong test cases by being creative and exploring challenging test scenarios

• Living ABB’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business

Qualifications for the role:

• BE or B.Tech in Electrical / Instrumentation / Electronics & Telecommunication engineering

• Minimum 3 to 7 years of experience in test automation and testing industrial automation software

• Good knowledge in drive engineering and testing

• Knowledge in programming, according to IEC 61131-3, Python and CODESYS

• Knowledge on manual and automation testing concepts, test automation tools and techniques Certification in ISTQB foundation level would be added advantage

• Having basic understanding on Azure DevOps, Jenkins, CI/ CD process and C# language

• Should have excellent problem-solving skills, ability to work both in team and independently
