The work model for this role is: onsite
Your role and responsibilities

Execute engineering activities for assigned MV components orders, ensuring compliance with customer specifications and ABB standards.

Perform technical and techno‑commercial studies to support accurate designs and optimized solutions.

Support production by resolving technical issues, providing process guidance, and delivering training when needed.

Collaborate with cross‑functional team-engineering, project management, planning, production, and marketing—to ensure smooth order execution and customer satisfaction.

Balance factory workload and clear technical comments to release orders for manufacturing.
-
Drive continuous improvement initiatives, enhancing quality, cost efficiency, and process performance.

Monitor and analyze key departmental KPIs (FPY, OPQ) and refine measurement criteria.
-
Contribute to developing reusable engineering tools, methods, and best practices.

Mentor and guide junior engineers, trainees, and interns.

Participating in project meetings and customer interactions when required.

Qualifications for the role
-
A bachelor’s degree in electrical power and machines Engineering.
-
You have 3 to 5 years of experience as a design engineer.
-
Experience in medium voltage indoor apparatus and Instrument Transformers is an advantage.

Knowledge of using Auto-CAD. Solid works
-
Fair knowledge about using ERP systems
-
Fair knowledge of IEC and relevant standards is a must.

You should be able to work under pressure and respond positively to challenges.

Fluency in both spoken & written English & Arabic language is required. French is an advantage.
