This Position reports to:

Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to manage a team of designers/engineers to deliver high quality, cost effective, and timely engineering solutions to customers. Each day, you will formulate plans and allocate resources to meet the agreed contractual and financial targets. You will also showcase your expertise by initiating, coordinating, driving, and overseeing team development and continual improvement of processes and procedures to strengthen the engineering and design capability.

This role is contributing to the Motion Business for Low-Speed Synchronous Generator division based at Vadodara, India:
You will be mainly accountable for:

Providing direction to the engineering team with a focus on functional safety, cybersecurity, on time delivery, quality, and margin improvement.

Ensuring the projects/ operations value chain portfolio follow sound methodology and execution practices in accordance with internal standard procedures and that the projects are closed as per the contract specifications.

Initiating, coordinating, driving, and overseeing continual improvement of processes and procedures to strengthen the engineering / design capability and efficiency, utilize agile methodologies to reduce engineering lead time, and enhance functional safety and cybersecurity.

Driving team performance to ensure that the deliverables are met on time and as per the set contract specifications and safety, cyber security, and quality requirements.

Qualifications for the role - 10 to 15 years of experience in providing designing solutions to the customers.

Full time B.E./B.Tech Mechanical.

Formulates plan and allocates resources to meet the agreed contractual and financial targets.

Ensures that all integrity related policies and standards and HSE and cybersecurity policies and standards are strictly adhered to and followed by local engineering unit/team.
