This role sits within ABB's Robotics business, a leading global robotics company. We're entering an exciting new chapter as we’ve announced the plan for Soft Bank Group to acquire ABB Robotics. This Position reports to:

IS Portfolio Manager:

In this role you will lead the execution of global IS projects in Robotics using either internal and/or 3rd party resources and ensure that all related activities are executed in accordance with business needs, company procedures, project objectives, applicable quality standards, safety requirements, cost and scheduling targets. We are entering a period of many interesting projects when we transfer into a single company with ownership by the Softbank group. Be part of our journey.

Main responsibilities:

• Finance workstream IS lead during carve-out period to oversee and drive the projects in the finance workstream and as SPOC for business
• Defines project scope, budget, resources, schedule, work allocation, and risk management plans in close collaboration with key stakeholders.
• Analyzes and manages financial data, including project budgets, reports to Ste Co, and monitors changes in IS or business strategy that may impact the project portfolio.
• Leads the project team, assigning tasks, motivating resources, overseeing vendor-delivered work, and ensuring completion of milestones and objectives.
• Serves as the key contact and escalation point for stakeholders, managing expectations, relationships, and timely communication to secure understanding and support.
• Organizes, monitors, and controls project activities to ensure achievement of stage-gates, efficient resource utilization, and adherence to ABB methodologies and internal directives.

Qualifications for the role:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Administration, or a related field.
• At least 8 years hands on experience of IS Project Management delivering complex projects on global scale especially on financial projects (Consolidation, Treasury, Invoice, Tax, Lease etc.) .
• PMP or Prince 2, Agile ITIL Scrum Master Certification.
• Strong documentation, communication, facilitation and consensus building skills
• Motivated self-starter, proactiveness and ownership with a keen interest in developing and implementing the best practice, creative solutions to the business.
• Fluent spoken and written English.
