Your Role and Responsibilities
ABB, a leading global company in automation and energy technologies, is looking for a suitable candidate for the position of Service Technician for the MV and LV Equipment Service Unit in Brno, Vídeňská.
The selected candidate will be primarily responsible for servicing MV switchgear at customers’ sites across the Czech Republic and abroad.
Work model: onsite

Servicing MV devices and switchgear
-
Providing service support to customers
-
Warranty and non-warranty repairs, maintenance, installation, testing, diagnostics, commissioning, etc.

Cooperation on production orders
-
Technical support and training for customers
-
Occasional on-call duty
-
Teamwork and supporting other departments and colleagues
Qualifications for the Role
-
Secondary technical education or higher in electrical engineering (power engineering, energy, automation, electrical engineering, etc.)
-
Professional qualification according to Act 250/2021 Coll., Government Regulation 194/2022 Coll., §6 and higher
-
Experience in the field is an advantage
-
Logical thinking and manual skills are a plus
-
Communicative level of English is an advantage
-
Driving license category B
-
Flexibility, independence, and precision
-
Result- and customer-oriented mindset
-
Willingness to continuously learn
