Your role and responsibilities
We are establishing a new Digital Communications Hub for ABB Motion divisions — a global Center of Expertise (CoE) designed to elevate how we plan, execute, and govern digital communications globally.
As the Digital Communications, Center of Expertise (CoE) Manager, you will build and lead this new global hub from the ground up. The Hub and the CoE are one and the same: a centralized capability created to drive operational excellence, consistency, and performance across digital campaign execution, social media activation, and web-related activities globally.
This newly created role offers a unique opportunity to shape how digital communications are delivered at scale — ensuring alignment of digital investments, strengthening governance, driving insight-led optimization, and enabling high-quality execution across markets.

The role is contributing to the Motion divisions globally. You will report to the Head of Communications, Motion Services
The ideal candidate is based in Romania, Poland, Spain, Portugal or Italy.
You will establish and lead the Digital Communications CoE as a trusted partner to global, regional, and country marketing and communications teams by:

Serving as the operational owner of the Digital CoE, designing and managing its processes, workflows, and service delivery model.

Ensuring clear prioritization, transparent coordination, and efficient handling of digital campaign, social media, and web requests.

Consolidating market‑level campaign data, identifying trends, and translating results into actionable recommendations, best practices, and efficiency improvements.

Managing agency partnerships, including workload planning, service level agreements’ governance, quality assurance and cost tracking.
Qualifications for the role
-
8–12+ years of experience in digital marketing, digital operations, or integrated marketing communications.

Proven experience leading digital agencies and/or overseeing centralized communications hub.

In-depth understanding of paid media, SEO, social activation, and multi-market campaign execution.

Solid web knowledge, including experience working with platforms such as Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).

Strong digital expertise with operational discipline, combined with solid stakeholder management and collaboration skills across cultures and regions.

Demonstrated ability to build or improve processes, drive prioritization, and create operational clarity.

Analytical mindset with the ability to translate campaign performance and digital activity into meaningful insights and recommendations.

Fluent in English.
