We are looking for a new team member for the position of Cloud Engineer – On‑premise and Azure Cloud at the Operational Center Europe in Ostrava.

Your main responsibility will be to create and maintain project environments primarily in the On‑premise Cloud (VMware Vx Rail). This includes the creation and configuration of virtual servers and clients (Linux and Microsoft), virtual networks, account management in Active Directory, GPO adjustments for project purposes, and installation of additional software.We are specifically looking for someone who brings strong expertise in Linux operating systems.

You will be responsible for the complete delivery of assigned requirements – from initial request to handover of the finished environment, as well as ongoing support, including changes, incidents and service requests.

We are a small team that values flexibility, versatility, willingness to learn, and the ability to bring in new ideas.

We welcome recent graduates as well as IT specialists at the beginning of their careers who are motivated to grow across multiple areas of IT.

Job Description:

• Administration and troubleshooting of Linux-based systems

• Virtualization in VMware and Azure environments

• Monitoring and Troubleshooting

• Installation of servers/clients in a domain environment

• Configuration of user rights in AD

• Installation of control systems

Who we are looking for:

• Secondary/University education in IT or electrical engineering, or a strong interest in working in the IT field

• Good communicative level of English (B2+) for daily communication (emails, conference calls)

• Strong knowledge of Linux OS.

• Overview in the IT field – installation of operating systems, networks, virtualization, backup tools, installation of HW components, switch configuration, server administration

• Willingness to learn and continuously educate oneself in the developing field of industry
