To strengthen our Procurement team, we are looking for a Buyer with hands-on experience working in purchasing, AI capabilities and driven solutions. Roles and Responsibilities:

Step into the heart of procurement as our next IM&S (Indirect Materials and Services) Buyer—where every day brings dynamic challenges and real impact! In this role, you’ll be hands-on with the entire Procure-to-Pay process for indirect goods and services, working at the intersection of technology and international business, AI driven solutions. You’ll engage with a diverse network of colleagues and suppliers from around the world, ensuring seamless order creation, tracking deliveries, and keeping everything running smoothly for our ABB Electrification Business Area.

• Drive Action: Launch purchase orders, confirm deliveries, and monitor supplier performance, taking ownership of the process from start to finish.
• Be the Connector: Align supplier orders with internal needs, ensuring quality, timely delivery, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness—all while collaborating with both local and international teams.
• Build Relationships: Forge strong, day-to-day partnerships with approved suppliers to exceed the expectations of our customers across the globe.
• Shape the Future: Scout out new suppliers with our category team and drive the onboarding process using innovative platforms like SAP ARIBA.
• Expand Your Skills: Support our strategic sourcing efforts by executing strategies and leading tactical negotiations or small RFQs—your chance to shine!
• Deliver Value: Analyze spending, compare supplier proposals, and make smart decisions that drive value for our organization.
• Champion Innovation and Collaborate Globally: Be a digital trailblazer—explore new technologies and automate processes to boost efficiency and spark new ideas.

Qualification for the role:

• Good experience of 5- 8 Yrs in purchasing or buyer roles
• Education BE Electrical/ BE Mechanical
• Hands-on knowledge of SAP (purchasing module) and SAP Ariba
• Strong Excel and digital skills and openness to innovation
• Excellent communication, both written and verbal
• Proactive, customer-focused, and solution-oriented mindset
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in diverse teams
• Experience in international and virtual team environments is a plus
