This Position reports to:
Sales Manager
Job Summary:
As Sales Manager for Consumer industry, you will lead our sales team to expand market share, build strategic partnerships, and achieve revenue targets. You’ll combine technical knowledge of robotics with consumer industry expertise to identify opportunities, nurture client relationships, and deliver tailored solutions or standard function packages and or Application cells offered by our global solution centers.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Execution:

Develop and execute sales plans to meet/exceed quarterly and annual targets for the consumer segment (e.g., food & beverage, packaging, logistics).

Identify and prioritize high-potential markets, channels, and clients (B2B and B2C).

Analyze competitor activity and market trends to refine positioning.

- Team Leadership:

Mentor and manage a team of sales representatives, providing coaching, training, and performance evaluations.
- Foster a culture of integrity, accountability, innovation, and customer-centricity.
Client Acquisition & Relationship Management:
-
Build and maintain relationships with key accounts, distributors, retailers, and OEM partners.

Negotiate contracts and close deals with enterprise clients

Collaborate with marketing to align sales efforts with campaigns, product launches, and trade shows.

- Market Insights:

Gather customer feedback to inform product development and improve offerings.
- Track KPIs (e.g., conversion rates, visit reports, pipeline growth, customer lifetime value).
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work with product, engineering, and support teams to ensure seamless customer onboarding and satisfaction.
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Robotics, or related field (MBA preferred).

7–10 years of sales experience, including 3+ years in robotics, IoT, or consumer tech.

Preferred experience with packaging, logistics, e-commerce platforms or partnerships with major system integrators (e.g., Amazon, top food & beverage companies).

Knowledge of regulatory standards for consumer robotics (e.g., safety, data privacy).

Proven track record of performances/exceeding sales quotas in a competitive market.

Experience managing high-performing sales teams.

Strong understanding of robotics/AI technologies and their applications in consumer markets.

Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and sales analytics platforms.

Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills. Ability to translate technical features into consumer benefits

Willingness to travel (up to 70%)
