Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to act as a design authority for an engineering discipline with low to medium complexity. Each day, you will complete assignments on small projects or portions of larger projects in a cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your expertise by applying basic design thinking/design for excellence concepts in projects.

The work model for the role is: onsite

This role is contributing to the Electrification Distribution Solutions in Apodaca. Main stakeholders are Engineering, R&D, and Manufacturing.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Planning, organizing, and executing multiple small and large projects simultaneously while meeting target delivery dates.

• Developing user requirements, specifications, and structure for improving various applications, including, but not limited to Empower, Rulestream, ePLAN, GPLM, and/or SAP.

• Interacting with Engineering, Manufacturing, IT, and SAP team members to troubleshoot and drive timely resolution to system related issues.

• Enhancing mechanical configurator code and tables for various product lines and Enhance electrical CAD tools for various product lines.

• Setting up, maintaining, training users on Engineering Systems and perform other duties as directed.

• Supporting some evenings and weekends may be required as part of production problem resolution, programming and inventory support.

Qualifications for the role

• Bachelors degree in Electrical, Electro-mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering, Computer Science

• 2-3 years of experience with Electrical Design Project Engineering (Rules based Systems prefrerred).

• Experience in electrical design software as ePLAN or AutoCAD electrical or similar, MS Office, and SAP. (Empower or configurator systems preferred)

• Knowledge of Low/Medium Voltage Motor Control Centers.

• Working knowledge of SQL and general programming. (Preferred)

• Advanced English required
