This role sits within ABB's Robotics business, a leading global robotics company. We're entering an exciting new chapter as we’ve announced the plan for Soft Bank Group to acquire ABB Robotics. Key responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide technical, order, and payment-related assistance/support to the internal and external customers. Each day, you will coordinate with relevant stakeholders to obtain complete case ownership. You will also showcase your expertise by improving customer satisfaction.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Processing customer inquiries from domestic and international customers as well as reviewing requested products for suitability and possible application

  • Advising customers and presenting solution proposals in coordination with the responsible specialist departments

  • Cost calculation, price adjustments and preparation of quotations

  • Overall management of orders including order processing, deadline monitoring and coordination

  • Execution of administrative and assistance tasks such as supporting subject-area related administrative work

Qualifications for the role

  • Successfully completed commercial training with initial professional experience in a comparable position

  • An agile and proactive approach, with a proven ability to take ownership of customer issues

  • Basic knowledge and experience in customer service

  • Knowledge of SAP

  • A team-oriented, solution-focused way of working as well as very good written and verbal communication skills

  • Fluent German and English language skills
