This role sits within ABB's Robotics business, a leading global robotics company. We're entering an exciting new chapter as we’ve announced the plan for Soft Bank Group to acquire ABB Robotics. This Position reports to:

Junior Procurement Team Leader:

In this role, you will have the opportunity to ensure the implementation, maintenance, and compliance of the purchasing and logistics-related activities in the Procurement function to support the businesses. Each day, you will execute assigned activities as per ABB Robotics standard procedures. You will also showcase your expertise by delivering and participating in training programs as required to ensure compliance and to foster professional development.

The work model for the role is: hybrid.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Process Purchase Requisitions and generate Purchase Orders, ensuring alignment with business needs.

  • Engage in negotiations with suppliers via phone to secure favorable terms and build strong relationships.

  • Monitor and confirm Purchase Order statuses with suppliers, managing expectations and timelines.

  • Ensure on-time delivery of goods and services, coordinating effectively with logistics partners.

  • Address and resolve any Purchase Order and Invoice discrepancies, maintaining clear communication channels.

  • Conduct supplier registration and qualification processes, upholding company standards and requirements.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and suppliers to foster a productive and efficient working environment.

  • Identify and implement process improvements to contribute to the company's development and operational excellence.

  • Champion a high-quality work culture, encouraging and promoting excellence across all procurement activities.

Qualifications for the role:

  • You are at ease communicating in business English and Czech, both at a C1 level.

  • You are passionate about and highly skilled in excellent communication, with a customer-focused and proactive attitude.

  • You have 2 years of experience in procurement, demonstrating established skills in navigating the procurement landscape.

  • You possess an enhanced knowledge of and are highly adept in Microsoft Excel and SAP.

  • Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
