Your role and responsibilities (Mandatory)

In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain vocational experience through a temporary work placement. Each day, you will acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting ABB’s operations and enhancing personal education/employment opportunities.

The work model for the role is: On site

This role is contributing to the Electrification Division in México.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Update and maintain work instructions and visual aids to ensure alignment with current production processes.

  • Collaborate with engineers and supervisors to gather accurate process information and translate it into clear documentation.

  • Support the standardization of visual documentation across different production lines.

  • Assist in identifying areas where documentation improvements can enhance efficiency, safety, and quality.

  • Ensure that updated instructions and visual aids are communicated effectively to production operators.

Qualifications for the role (Mandatory)

  • Currently studying in 7th or 8th Semester in an Materials, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering Degree or related field.

  • Intermediate Business Conversational English.

  • Strong written communication and attention to details.

  • Team building, creativity, proactive.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

  • Basic knowledge of technical drawing or CAD tools (Solid Works/AutoCAD preferred).

  • Familiarity with ISO-9001 documentation requirements.

  • Familiarity with assembly processes.

  • Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles.
