Your Role & Responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to perform a vital role in contributing to the company's strategic objectives. Each day, you will make a positive impact on business operations by supporting and collaborating with the business. You will also showcase your expertise by participating in the comprehensive Global Early Talent Program as per the plan.
Main location for this role: Eggelsberg
In this role, you’ll help run what runs the world, by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact.
The work model for the role is: onsite with 10 home office days a month
You will be mainly accountable for:

Supporting the implementation, delivery, and continuous improvement of products and services within the defined area as directed.

Contributing to multiple assignments with clearly defined Key Performance Indicators across various countries to broaden your experience and further develop intercultural skills.

Delivering the assigned tasks/projects within the assignment period.

Participating in required formal training programs (e.g., Leadership Challenge Program, specific functional training) to develop personal, functional, and leadership skills.
The program is made up of three assignments in different roles.

One nine-month assignment in your home country as an introduction to the business.

One six-month assignment abroad to get an overview of ABB’s operations in a different environment/role and work on an exciting assignment with a different team, expanding your network.

One nine-month assignment back to the home country/home business, where you will deepen your knowledge of the business and of your function.
During the program we will take the participants on a leadership competency development journey. The last rotation will also be the time where the participants start to look for their final position, to be started after the end of the program.

What it takes to Run what runs the world

A Master of Science (or equivalent) in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

Proficiency in using financial software and platforms such as SAP, Excel, and other relevant tools.

Strong understanding of accounting, controlling, and the ability to apply these concepts in practice.

Effective collaboration in international teams with a global mindset.
-
Excellent communication skills with a strong affinity for teamwork, change management, and strategic thinking.
-
Fluency in both English and German.
-
Previous internship or early professional experience in the finance sector would be a valuable asset.

The minimum compensation, in accordance with the electrical and electronics industry collective agreement, is 3.775,27 EUR monthly for a full-time position as of May 2025. But we would be pleased to speak in person about your compensation package in relation to your qualifications and experience!
