This Position reports to:

Group Manager O&G, CH&R

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to act as the technical lead for all engineering activities in assignments. Each day, you will ensure the activities related to all engineering disciplines within the project are executed in an efficient and cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your expertise by acting as a design authority for a particular engineering discipline and completing the corresponding engineering assignments.

The work model for the role is: hybrid

This role is contributing to the Process Automation Energy Industries in Qatar & Middle East region.

You will be mainly accountable for:

٠ Collaborating on project installation, commissioning, and site activities, to clarify potential issues or provide solutions to rectify the engineering errors.

٠ Coaching the project engineers and designers on the translation of conceptual designs to engineering documentation, including modelling, prototyping, and calculations.

٠ Leading, supervising, and coordinating teams (less than 10 members) in all engineering disciplines (both in-house and outsourced) on projects.

٠ Applying design thinking or design for excellence concepts in projects, including modelling, prototyping, simulation, and calculations.

Qualifications for the role:

٠ You are highly skilled in ABB 800xA and/or S+ with Harmony / Infi90, PMS & IEC 61850, AC800M HI and/or Advant systems in the Energy Industries sector markets

٠ You have more than six years of experience in leading the activities related to Process Automation with ABB Products mentioned above

٠ Possess the detailed knowledge in most of the specified systems / platforms (overall knowledge of remainig ones)

٠ You are passionate about building the strong collaboration and cooperate tightly with targeted customers to lead the successful delivery of expected services

٠ Degree in Electrical or Automation Engineering

٠ You are at ease communicating in English
