ABB is looking for a new colleague for the High Voltage Switchgear unit in Brno for the position of Designer in the Technical Preparation of Production department - now with a starting bonus of 20,000 CZK.
We also welcome recent high school/university graduates to the position, to whom we offer gradual integration and continuous development.
Job description:
Creating production documentation for non-standard machine parts in high-voltage switchgear in the Solidworks program (3D models and drawing documentation)
Modifying often existing patterns
Collaborating with the project manager, production line and sometimes directly with foreign customers in clarifying the assignment
Collaborating on solving problems that arise during production and testing of projects and eliminating deficiencies found
Collaborating on the development of new products and on changes to established products with the development center
Who are we looking for:
Secondary/high school education in mechanical or electrical engineering
Interest in the field of electrical engineering; knowledge of heavy current is a great advantage
Creative and proactive approach to work
User knowledge of working in Solidworks or similar 3D software
Communicativeness, proactivity and ability to work in a team
Knowledge of the Czech language is a must - for daily communication with colleagues across the entire company
Slightly advanced knowledge of English (level B1 is enough)
An advantage is the following: 50 § 5 - not a condition
Knowledge of MV switchgear an advantage
