Your role and responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled and motivated front-end React+ Typescript Developer to join our software development team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building scalable applications using the React ecosystem, with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and modern development practices.

In this role you will be contributing for Robot & Discrete Automation in Bangalore, India
You will be mainly accountable for:

• Design, develop, and maintain high‑quality web applications and reusable UI components using React, HTML, CSS, and TypeScript, aligned with UI/UX guidelines.
• Collaborate with design, product, and backend teams to plan, architect, and deliver new features and user‑centric solutions.
• Implement and maintain automated unit, integration, and end‑to‑end tests to ensure performance, reliability, and code quality.
• Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards, best practices, and maintainable architecture across the frontend codebase.
• Create and maintain clear technical documentation for application features, components, and development processes.

Qualifications for the role

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 3–5 years of hands‑on experience in full‑stack development using React.js, Node.js, and TypeScript.
• Strong experience working with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and non‑relational databases (MongoDB).
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP; Azure preferred.
• Working knowledge of Docker, CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps), and version control tools like Git.
• Solid understanding of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and collaborative software development practices.
• Experience with testing frameworks such as Cypress, Jest, and Mocha.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities with the capability to make informed and pragmatic technical decisions.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in cross‑functional, collaborative team environments.
• (Desirable) Familiarity with DevOps practices, Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible), and web application security best practices.
