Position Overview
Reports to: Quality and Field Service Manager
Progress is a given at ABB – for you, your team, and the whole world. As a Commissioning Engineer, you will take on challenges that change the industry and drive innovation. Responsibilities
- Testing HV and LV switchgear assemblies, PDBs, auxiliary technologies, in production or on site at the customer's premises
- Setting up, testing, and commissioning control systems, inverters, BMS, EPS, HVAC
- Support during the commissioning of "e House" systems and assemblies
- Preparing reports on tests and activities performed
- Assistance with FAT
- Training of customers and operators, if necessary
- Service interventions on individual devices, expert consultation with customers, and customer support
- Active participation in existing and new projects
- Possible participation in the creation of a system of standards and testing procedures
- Cooperation on more complex projects
- Teamwork, supervision and support of other departments and colleagues
Qualifications
- Secondary or university education in electrical engineering (heavy current electrical engineering, energy, automation, electrical engineering, etc.) – the position is also suitable for graduates
- Professional qualification according to Act 250/2021 Coll., Government Regulation 194/2022 Coll. §6 and higher
- Experience is an advantage, but we also welcome graduates
- Communicative knowledge of English, another world language is an advantage
- Driver's license class B
- Flexibility, independence, precision

- Willingness to travel frequently, including longer trips
- Willingness to continuously learn
