Step into a key leadership role at ABB Drives Estonia, where we advance industry reliability, quality, and sustainability worldwide.
We are looking for a Quality & Reliability Assurance (QRA) Manager to oversee the quality and reliability agenda at ABB Drives Estonia. In this important leadership role, you will drive product quality and reliability improvement work across business lines, uphold our safety and sustainability culture, grow internal capabilities, and widen ABB’s global reliability network.
Reporting directly to the Local Business Unit Manager, you will play a central role in shaping site-level strategy while contributing your expertise to ABB’s global quality and reliability community.
Your Responsibilities

Ensuring quality and reliability excellence by owning and managing product quality and reliability improvement efforts across the site — including accelerated lifetime testing and ongoing reliability testing in our Drives Reliability Center (DRC), as well as production/testing/field failure analysis.

Overseeing key QRA processes, serving as process owner for DRC and Quality Assurance (QA) Lab operations, ensuring efficient daily workflows and long-term capability development.

Leading the QRA organization, managing the QRA department supporting Motion High Power business lines and developing the competencies needed to meet current and future business requirements.

Collaborating across the value stream, ensuring cross-functional alignment with engineering, production, supply chain, service, and business line stakeholders.

Representing Drives Estonia in ABB’s global product quality and reliability stakeholder network, contributing knowledge and coordinating shared improvement.
Qualifications for the role
-
M.Sc or B.Sc in electrical engineering, material science, or another relevant field.

Solid experience in product quality and/or reliability engineering or management.

Experience in leading teams; project or product management experience is beneficial.

Ability to work in a data-driven and process-driven manner.

Well-developed problem-solving skills paired with the capacity to turn complex information into usable insights.

Effective communication and collaboration skills with a motivated, development-oriented mindset.

Fluent English; Estonian is beneficial.
