Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain vocational experience through a temporary work placement. Each day, you will acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting ABB’s operations and enhancing personal education/employment opportunities.

This role is contributing to the ABB Motion Business area, product group Traction motors, located in Västerås but operating globally. Main stakeholder is the team you will be working in.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Support our traction motor team during the summer period with improvements related to documentation in the areas of manuals, RAMS/LCC templates, material declarations as well as harmonization of graphic profile.
• The role will focus on updating and developing templates in MS Office (Excel, Word)
• The role includes but is not limited to:
  Updates of existing templates
  Creative work to suggest and implement improvements that will minimize project specific work regarding documentation.
• Harmonization of documentation regarding graphic profile.
• Participating in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and other collaborative efforts.
• Seeking feedback and guidance from manager and team members to improve

Qualifications for the role- This position is well suited for someone with

• • good knowledge in MS Office
• • good sense of structure, social skills and work flow understanding
• • an interest in technical documentation and
• • an interest in electrical machines
• • and a desire to contribute to ongoing activities with flexible mindset.
• You are at ease communicating in English
