This Position reports to:

• Finance Team Lead
• Transactional Tax

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to execute back office and other administrative activities within the Tax function, in line with defined strategies, policies, and procedures. Each day, you will provide support for various projects and initiatives, including project risk reviews, contract structures, etc. You will also showcase your expertise by managing and preparing supporting documentation (support for tax returns, etc.).

This role is contributing to the Tax Function in the India Region. Main stakeholders are Corporate Tax Team, Finance Controllers, and External Auditors.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Assisting in all tax accounting and reporting activities within the scope of your tax practice/area.
• Providing support during tax audits and any other requests from tax authorities.
• Performing Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICoFR) processes in the respective areas of responsibility.

The work model for the role is: onsite only.

Qualifications for the role

• You are highly skilled in working with SAP, MS Excel, and tax compliance tools within the taxation domain.
• You have 2 years of experience in tax accounting or financial reporting.
• Possess an enhanced knowledge of Indian tax regulations and GST compliance.
• You are passionate about documentation accuracy and stakeholder collaboration.
• Degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
• You are at ease communicating in English, both written and verbal.
• You hold current work authorization valid in India.
