This Position reports to:

Production Engineering Manager:

Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the deployment of the continuous improvement strategy for a local organizational unit, including promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Each day, you will mentor and coach teams to achieve operational excellence and drive improved results. You will also showcase your expertise by deploying and leading projects to improve and sustain local business performance.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Follow company strategy deployment then select and leading improvement projects(CIP) connect with CI Saving, Monitoring implementation of the solutions, controlling the results of the implementation, tracking the continuous improvement process and status.

  • Implement IE knowledge to optimize workshop Layout / Line balance / Material Feeding / 5S / Pull system / Poke yoke, to improve OEE and reduce waste

  • Promote visual standards and 5S in the factory, and promote the improvement of the overall 5S level of the factory

  • Facilitating significant improvements with respect to safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and/or cost targets, meeting customer and stakeholder commitments in collaboration with local leadership.

  • Qualifications for the role- Bachelor or above degree in Industrial Engineering or Management Science and Engineering major.

  • Above 5-10 years lean improvement experience and above 3-5 years improvement project management or relevant experience, have a deep understanding of lean production and industrial engineering.

  • Demonstrated experiences of 5S, lean thinking,7 wastes. Understanding 7 IE tools. Understanding Lean knowledge about VSM, pull system, continuous flow,Visual Management etc. PDCA, fishbone, Pareto, 5 WHY’s etc. Lean and six sigma relevant knowledge,L6S Green Belt is required, MTM-UAS certificate is preferred.

  • Good problem analysis and solving skill, good communication and coordination ability, strong execution ability, team work.

  • Proficiency in spoken and written Chinese and good oral and written English.

  • AutoCAD, Excel for data analysis, excellent PPT report ability, familiar with SAP, ERP, MES, WMS and other management software, familiar with plant simulation software.

  • Serious, strong resistance to pressure, proactive in work, able to work independently. Working experience in motor industry and automobile industry is preferred
