Senior Project Lead Engineer:

Your role and responsibilities

You will lead the design and execution of Medium Voltage switchgear revamping projects initiatives for our ELSE Service Division in Dalmine.

You will bridge technical excellence with project management, ensuring our customers receive innovative, safe, and cost-effective electrical solutions.

In this role, you’ll help run what runs the world by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact, as you will be accountable for:

• Lead technical development of MV & LV revamping projects (including One Fit/Retrofit solutions) defining functional logic of electrical schemes and engineering solutions in accordance with contract specifications and technical standards.

• Specify and select materials, equipment, and components, performing SAP data and material entry.

• Develop comprehensive work plans and cost estimates, managing project scope, time, and budget while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and contractual requirements.

• Coordinate external engineering partners, suppliers, and stakeholders, conducting commercial and technical negotiations to deliver quality solutions within budget.

• Provide technical consultation to customers, facilitate cross-functional communication with operations and expediting teams, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications for the role

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification (Perito Industriale in Elettrotecnica).

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in Project Engineering.

• Proven ability in developing electrical schemes and engineering solutions for MV & LV systems.

• Expert knowledge of LV and MV switchboards and circuit breakers.

• Proficiency in MS Office package, MS Project, Elettra Cad, and SAP.

• Excellent organizational skills with ability to set priorities effectively, strong communication skills to engage with diverse stakeholders. Problem-solving mindset with focus on continuous improvement.

• At ease communicating in Italian and English, both written and spoken.
