To enhance the leadership of Supply Chain for the Blending Business Line, ABB is recruiting a Global SCM Manager to direct global sourcing strategy and better align efforts across Product & Technology, Bid & Proposal, and regional business teams
This position plays a critical role in shaping procurement strategy, optimizing supplier performance, and ensuring supply chain alignment with global business objectives.
You will lead an international team across France, India, and China, collaborating with internal stakeholders and external suppliers worldwide to ensure cost efficiency, supply reliability, and strategic sourcing excellence.
The position is global, can be hosted in any ABB location, ideally with business presence in hybrid work model.
You will be mainly accountable for:

Manage and develop a global Supply Chain Management team located across Europe and Asia, ensuring alignment with ABB procurement standards and objectives.

Define and execute the global sourcing strategy for the Blending Business Line in alignment with overall business and procurement strategies.

Execute structured sourcing initiatives and supplier development programs to reduce costs, improve supplier performance, and secure reliable delivery.

Ensure effective coordination between Procurement, Product & Technology, Bid & Proposal, and Business Line leadership.

Monitor and manage procurement planning, cost budgets, savings forecasts, and emerging country sourcing strategies.

Ensure full adoption and utilization of SAP Ariba for supplier management, sourcing activities, and procurement transparency.

Manage supplier relationships and ensure suppliers have the capacity, capability, and compliance to meet current and future business needs.

Track and report procurement KPIs, supplier performance, quality issues, and improvement initiatives.

Qualifications for the role**- Minimum**10 years of experience in Supply Chain / Procurement, including leadership roles in global sourcing environments.

Demonstrated experience leading international teams and implementing global sourcing strategies in industrial or engineering environments.

Extensive experience in strategic sourcing, supplier development, procurement cost management, and supply chain optimization.

Experience working with SAP / SAP Ariba or similar procurement platforms. Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.

Effective stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills within complex global organizations.

Professional fluency in English.

Willingness to travel internationally to suppliers and ABB locations.
