This Position reports to:

Project Planning & Controls Manager:

We are looking for a new team member for newly opened position of Project Specialist at the European Operations Center in Ostrava.

As a Project Specialist, you will work closely with project managers and project controllers in the area of project management and execution. You will work daily with the SAP system, communicate in English and contribute to projects for our customer in Norway.

Your responsibilities:

• Booking project/orders in the SAP system and project coordination

• Reviewing planned costs and revenues, setting up billing milestones

• Evaluating cost over-run

• Monitoring actual costs and revenues against budget and forecasts

• Collecting data for invoicing, tracking invoicing milestones, invoice processing

• Supporting the Project Manager during project reviews

• Active cooperation with the Project Manager and Project Controller

• Project closing

Qualifications for the role:

• You have a secondary or university education (preferably in economics or finance)

• You speak English at a communicative level (both email and verbal communication)

• You have previous experience with the ERP system SAP (knowledge of modules PS, MM, or SD is an advantage)

• You have an eye for detail and enjoy working with numbers

• You have prior experience with MS Office Excel

• You are comfortable working in a virtual team
