This role sits within ABB's Robotics business, a leading global robotics company. We're entering an exciting new chapter as we’ve announced the plan for Soft Bank Group to acquire ABB Robotics. This Position reports to:

JOB PROFILE SUMMARYConducts proactive business development aligned with the division's strategy in countries where business
conditions require increased attention and focus. Provides business support, including expertise in products,
applications, solutions, and segment and customer (group) support for the assigned product portfolio, ensuring
profitable business growth and sustainable deployment of the division's strategic plan.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES• Defines, develops, and executes the strategies and business plans related to focus segments, channels, and
applications for identified markets in collaboration with the Sales and Marketing teams.
- Ensures the strategies and business plans are aligned with the overall division’s strategy to achieve defined
targets. - Defines Key Performance Indicator (KPI) targets for existing products as well as new product launches in
collaboration with the Marketing function and ensures their achievement. - Defines marketing and sales targets and establishes appropriate metrics and measurement tools to
effectively monitor performance in the region, in collaboration with all relevant stakeholders. - Ensures profitable business growth focused on orders, revenues, margins, market shares, and customer
satisfaction, as well as the implementation of particular product, application, and segment initiatives, in
collaboration with the division stakeholders. - Oversees the implementation of activities for agreed cross-divisional, product group, and regional initiatives.
- Supports the organization in the execution of product launches and customer events when required.
- Understands segment, channel, and customer needs in the market and creates new business opportunities.
- Develops and implements product support and training to ensure high customer satisfaction in collaboration
with Product Management and the global team. - Manages commercial and technical support for the Sales team in collaboration with the relevant stakeholders.
- Supports continuous improvement of Net Promoter Score (NPS) by overseeing the execution of customer
satisfaction surveys, analyzing results, and taking corrective actions as necessary. - Ensures effective approach to global and regional accounts.
- Shares functional best practices and lessons learned across the organization.

- Ensures all staff (under scope) understand ABB’s core values and group safety and integrity standards and
act accordingly. - Implements and ensures compliance with the ABB code of conduct, global and local standards, tools, policies,
and processes in their assigned area. - Ensures adherence to all internal and statutory regulations and policies pertaining to the teams in scope.
- Ensures integrity and compliance with ABB values and ethics in all activities across all teams in scope.
- Accountable for the health and safety of all employees and contractors for the teams in scope, and
continuous improvement in Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) processes and integrity performance.
COLLABORATION / LEADERSHIP• Coordinates contingency and business continuity with the existing process(es) in collaboration with regions
and relevant stakeholders. - Supports the collaboration between Marketing and Sales teams, regions, functions, global product groups,
factories, and relevant stakeholders. - Guides and supports Product Marketing and Sales teams to ensure the right capabilities are in place.
- Acts as the interface/bridge between factories and countries.
- Ensures that their own area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, and directed.
- Builds an effective, capable, and high-performing organization.
- Develops talent, appoints managers, and reviews effectiveness.
