Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you execute service work with low to medium complexity as per work instructions and in accordance with ABB standard processes, quality standards, and safety guidelines. Delivers quality customer service to satisfy customers.
The work model for the role is: #Li-Onsite.
This role is contributing to the ABB India, Smart Power. Electrification Business as Service Support Specialist UPS Products in Bangalore Region, India.
You will be mainly accountable for:

Execute field service activities including installation, commissioning, and maintenance at customer sites.

Complete assigned service tasks within timelines while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Maintain accurate service documentation and provide timely updates on job progress.

Coordinate with planning, logistics, and technical support teams to ensure smooth onsite execution.

Support customers by providing clear communication and resolving technical issues effectively.
Qualifications for the role:
-
B.E. / Diploma in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.

Minimum 10+ years of extensive experience in the UPS industry, including order management, service delivery, and project execution.

Handled end-to-end order processing and ensured timely project completion.

In-depth technical knowledge of UPS systems, including site readiness assessment, installation practices, and solution deployment.

Clear written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage effectively at all levels.

Demonstrated ability to build, manage, and sustain productive relationships with third-party partners and vendors.
-
Demonstrated capability to manage client interactions and coordinate seamlessly with internal teams and key stakeholders.
