Key responsibilities
Are you ready to actively shape the future of energy distribution – not in the background, but at the heart of it, in dialogue with international partners and decision-makers?In this role, you will combine technical understanding with entrepreneurial thinking and a global mindset. As the interface between the product world, partner network, and market trends, you will make a significant contribution to successfully positioning our innovative medium-voltage products worldwide.
This isn't just about sales figures, but about genuine relationships: You will identify potential, build long-term partnerships, and support projects from vision to implementation.

You will be mainly accountable for:

Establish and maintain international partnerships in the area of medium-voltage products – including 30-50% travel
-
Conduct presentations and training sessions on our product portfolio to identify possible applications and sales opportunities for partners

Analysis of markets, partners, and competitors to develop tailored go-to-market strategies
-
Introduction and further development of global partner strategies (e.g., 5-step model) to strengthen sustainable growth
-
Support of projects from the initial idea to implementation – in close coordination with sales, technology, and partner companies

Representation of ABB at international trade fairs and conferences
Qualifications for the role
-
Completed studies in electrical engineering, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, or comparable
-
Several years of experience in technical sales, business development, or partner management – ideally in an OEM or medium-voltage environment
-
Fluent written and spoken English and Spanish; additional foreign languages are an advantage
-
Confident use of MS Office, ideally also SAP
-
Strong communication skills, initiative, and a passion for networking
-
Willingness to travel internationally and intercultural skills
