This Position reports to:

Group Manager O&G, CH&R

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to act as a design authority for an engineering discipline with low to medium complexity. Each day, you will complete assignments on small projects or portions of larger projects in a cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your expertise by applying basic design thinking/design for excellence concepts in projects.

The work model for the role is: hybrid

This role is contributing to the Process Automation Energy Industries in Qatar & Middle East region.

You will be mainly accountable for:

٠ Evaluating, selecting, and applying standard techniques and procedures to perform engineering assignments.

٠ Providing technical support for testing, installation, and commissioning activities.

٠ Assisting in preparing proposal/presentation of engineering projects.

٠ Utilizing checklists to perform design verification according to applicable standards and engineering guidelines.

Qualifications for the role:

٠ You are skilled in ABB 800xA and/or S+ with Harmony / Infi90, PMS & IEC 61850, AC800M HI and/or Advant systems in the Energy Industries sector markets

٠ You have at least three years of experience in Process Automation with ABB Products mentioned above

٠ Possess the enhanced knowledge in at least one of the specified systems / platforms

٠ You are passionate about building strong collaboration and cooperate tightly with targeted destinations and sectors

٠ Degree in Electrical or Automation Engineering

٠ You are at ease communicating in English
