This Position reports to:

Category Manager

In this role, you will have the opportunity to ensure the implementation, maintenance, and compliance of the purchasing and logistics-related activities in the Procurement function to support the businesses. Each day, you will execute assigned activities as per ABB standard procedures. You will also showcase your skills by delivering and participating in training programs as required to ensure compliance and to support professional development.

The work model for the role is: hybrid

This role is contributing to the AU Indirect materials & Services in EMEA.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Executing purchasing and logistics strategies to support the business by optimizing costs, quality, and reliability of suppliers and supplied products.
• Designing and implementing plans and effective strategies for local sourcing of products/materials to reach business targets.
• Supporting in implementing effective local sourcing strategies in line with business strategy to meet current and future business requirements.
• Applying and implementing procurement standards, tools, and processes in your area of responsibility to secure quality, delivery, cost, and sustainability.

Qualifications for the role:

• You are highly skilled in using tools such as Excel and SAP, leveraging them to optimize procurement processes within a professional environment.
• You have 2+ years of experience in procurement, delivering efficient and effective solutions in this field.
• You are adept at communicating fluently in business Turkish, Polish and English, demonstrating communication skills, especially during phone conversations.
• You are committed to delivering high-quality customer service, with a focused and solution-oriented approach to meeting customer needs.
• You possess advanced interpersonal skills that help build positive relationships and ensure smooth collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
