Quality Manager

Your role and responsibilities

You will have the opportunity to support the deployment of the quality strategy for a local organizational unit, including quality culture, systems, tools, and competent teams with the aim to achieve and exceed customer expectations, while ensuring sustainable operations. Each day, you will assist the organization in achieving the right mix of prevention, continuous improvement, robust root cause analysis, quick response, and sustainable solutions to problems. You will also showcase your expertise by collaborating with local functions that impact the quality results to reach the targets for the organizational unit and aim for world-class performance.

In this role, you’ll help run what runs the world by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact, as you will be accountable for:

• Defining quality standards, procedures, and control plans, including training responsibilities and data management in line with ABB standards.

• Supporting product development and process improvement to meet specifications, enhance performance, and drive safety and customer satisfaction.

• Leading quality operations and coordination within production, focusing on continuous improvement and achieving business targets.

• Managing audits, non-conformities, and cross-functional root cause analyses, serving as a reference for suppliers and customers.

Qualifications for the role

• You enjoy working with Commitment to deliver results by taking responsibility to execute assigned tasks and projects.

• You have at least 2/3 years of exeperience in similar roles.

• Possess an enhanced knowledge of Statistical Analysis and statistical software (i.e. Minitab). Knowledge of lean six sigma methodology will be considered a plus.

• You are passionate about Willingness to express your full potential bringing-in your value added, ideas and passion to continuously innovate daily job and solution.

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, also Electrical/Electronic/Automation will be considered. You are at ease communicating in English and Italian, both written and spoken.
